1General information

We only process personal data (hereinafter usually referred to as "data") to the extent necessary and for the purpose of providing a functional and user-friendly website, including its content and the services offered there.

According to Article 4 (1) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter "GDPR"), "processing" means any operation or set of operations performed on personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.

With the following privacy notice, we inform you in particular about the type, scope, purpose, duration and legal basis of the processing of personal data, insofar as we decide alone or jointly with others on the purposes and means of processing. In addition, we inform you below about the third-party components used for optimisation and to increase the quality of use, insofar as third parties process data on their own responsibility.

2Data collection on this website

Who is responsible for data collection on this website?

Data processing on this website is carried out by the website operator. You can find their contact details in the legal notice of this website.

How do we collect your data?

Your data is collected on the one hand by you providing it to us. This may be, for example, data that you enter into a contact form. Other data is collected automatically or with your consent when you visit the website through our IT systems. This is primarily technical data (e.g. internet browser, operating system or time of page access). This data is collected automatically as soon as you enter this website.

What do we use your data for?

Part of the data is collected to ensure that the website is provided without error. Other data may be used to analyse your user behaviour. Your data processed when using our website will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies, no legal retention obligations prevent deletion and no other information is provided below regarding individual processing procedures.

What rights do you have regarding your data?

You have the right at any time to receive free information about the origin, recipients and purpose of your stored personal data. You also have the right to request the correction or deletion of this data. If you have given consent to data processing, you can withdraw this consent at any time for the future. You also have the right, under certain circumstances, to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. For this and other questions on the subject of data protection, you can contact us at any time using the address given in the legal notice.

3Contact form and mailto composer

The enquiry form provided on the contact page processes your input exclusively locally in your browser. When you submit the form, your installed email programme opens with a prepared message — the actual sending is triggered by you from your own mail client.

In concrete terms, this means:

  • No form data is transmitted to a Q+ Consulting server or to a third-party provider as long as you do not send the email from your own mail programme.
  • Transmission then takes place exclusively via your own email infrastructure to our email address Markus.Pralle (at) qplusc.de.
  • The incoming email is processed by us solely for the purpose of handling your enquiry. Legal basis: Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in efficient enquiry handling).
  • Your data is deleted after processing has been completed, unless legal retention obligations apply.

4Google Fonts

This website uses external web fonts (Source Sans 3, Playfair Display) provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland) for consistent display of typefaces. When a page is called up, your browser loads the required fonts into the browser cache.

For this purpose, the browser you use connects to Google's servers. This makes Google aware that this website has been accessed via your IP address. The use of Google Fonts serves the interest of a uniform and appealing presentation of our online offering. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

Further information on Google Fonts can be found at developers.google.com/fonts/faq and in Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

5Hosting and Content Delivery Networks (CDN)

External hosting

This website is hosted by an external service provider. The personal data collected on this website is stored on the servers of the host. This may primarily include IP addresses, contact requests, meta and communication data, contract data, contact details, names, website accesses and other data generated via a website.

The host is used for the purpose of fulfilling contracts with our potential and existing customers (Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR) and in the interest of providing our online offering securely, quickly and efficiently by a professional provider (Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR).

Our host will only process your data to the extent necessary to fulfil its service obligations and will follow our instructions with regard to this data.

We use the following host:
1&1 IONOS SE
Elgendorfer Str. 57
56410 Montabaur, Germany

Storage period

Unless a more specific storage period has been stated in this privacy notice, your personal data will remain with us until the purpose for processing the data no longer applies. If you assert a justified request for deletion or withdraw your consent to data processing, your data will be deleted unless we have other legally permissible reasons for storing your personal data (e.g. retention periods under tax or commercial law); in the latter case, the data will be deleted once these reasons no longer apply.

7Rights of users and data subjects

With regard to data processing, users and data subjects have the right

  • to confirmation as to whether data concerning them is being processed, to information about the data being processed, to further information about data processing and to copies of the data (see also Article 15 GDPR);
  • to rectification or completion of inaccurate or incomplete data (see also Article 16 GDPR);
  • to the immediate erasure of data concerning them (see also Article 17 GDPR), or, alternatively, where further processing is necessary in accordance with Article 17 (3) GDPR, to the restriction of processing pursuant to Article 18 GDPR;
  • to receive the data concerning them and provided by them and to transfer this data to other providers / controllers (see also Article 20 GDPR);
  • to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority if they consider that the data concerning them is being processed by the provider in breach of data protection provisions (see also Article 77 GDPR).

In addition, the provider is obliged to inform all recipients to whom data has been disclosed by the provider of any rectification or erasure of data or restriction of processing carried out on the basis of Articles 16, 17 (1), 18 GDPR. However, this obligation does not exist if such notification is impossible or involves a disproportionate effort. Notwithstanding this, the user has a right to information about these recipients.

Likewise, users and data subjects have the right under Article 21 GDPR to object to future processing of data concerning them if the data is processed by the provider in accordance with Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. In particular, an objection to data processing for the purpose of direct advertising is permissible.

Right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority

In the event of breaches of the GDPR, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of their habitual residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement. The right to lodge a complaint exists without prejudice to other administrative or judicial remedies.

Right to data portability

You have the right to have data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in performance of a contract handed over to you or to a third party in a common, machine-readable format. If you request the direct transfer of the data to another controller, this will only be done insofar as it is technically feasible.

Information, deletion and correction

Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients and the purpose of data processing and, if applicable, the right to correction or deletion of this data. For this and other questions about personal data, you can contact us at any time using the address given in the legal notice.

Right to restriction of processing

You have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data. The right to restriction of processing exists in the following cases:

  • If you contest the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we generally need time to verify this. For the duration of the verification, you have the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data.
  • If the processing of your personal data was / is unlawful, you can request restriction of data processing instead of deletion.
  • If we no longer need your personal data but you need it for the exercise, defence or assertion of legal claims, you have the right to request restriction of the processing of your personal data instead of deletion.
  • If you have lodged an objection under Article 21 (1) GDPR, a balancing of your and our interests must be carried out. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request restriction of the processing of your personal data.

If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, this data — apart from being stored — may only be processed with your consent or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or a Member State.

8SSL / TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or enquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption.

You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line. When SSL or TLS encryption is enabled, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

9IONOS WebAnalytics

We use IONOS WebAnalytics on our website. This is an analysis service provided by 1&1 IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany, hereinafter referred to as "WebAnalytics", with which we can analyse the use of our website.
